Mechanical engineering is the study of designing and development of machines from bicycles to toasters to supersonic jets. Mechanical Engineers influences the design of some products as well – light bulbs, shoes, doors etc. Mechanical engineering is widely spread in the areas of robotics, manufacturing, air conditioning, transportation/automotive etc. Mechanical Engineers may design a machine, or a component, or a process, or a system.
